GDA Announces Recipients of the 2026 Vibrant Community Fund
GDA is pleased to announce the recipients of funding under the 2026 Vibrant Community Fund.
The Vibrant Community Fund supports local groups and organisations in delivering initiatives that strengthen community connection, promote inclusion, and enhance the social and cultural life of the Grangegorman neighbourhood. Following a strong level of interest and a competitive application process, this year’s successful projects reflect the creativity, diversity, and community spirit that define the neighbourhood.
These initiatives represent a wide range of activities that will bring communities together through storytelling, sustainability, intergenerational engagement, and local events. Each project highlights the strong sense of active citizenship that continues to shape the Grangegorman area.
Stream 1 – €2,500 Awards
- Stoneybatter Pride of Place (POP) – Stoneybatter Festival 2026
- Phibsboro Village Tidy Towns – Buzzfest: Dublin 7's Annual Sustainability Festival 2026
Stream 2 – €1,000 Awards
- An Síol Community Development Partnership – Senior Citizens Community Newsletter
- Annamoe Parade Cleanup Group – Play in the Parade Event
- Aosóg Child and Family Project – Intergenerational Activities and Workshops
- Broadstone Basin Residents Association – Equipment and Entertainment for Street Parties
- Connecting Cabra – Cabra Stories Event
