A New Chapter for Grangegorman Begins

The Academic Hub & Library officially opens on 11 September 2026, marking a significant milestone for the Grangegorman campus and the wider community.

This landmark achievement reflects the shared vision, ambition and commitment of the Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA), Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (DFHERIS), TU Dublin, O'Donnell + Tuomey Architects, OHLA Townlink, and the many partners, teams and individuals who worked together to bring this transformative project to life.

Together, they have created a world-class destination for learning, collaboration and community at the heart of Grangegorman. Designed to support students, staff and the wider public, the Academic Hub & Library provides inspiring spaces for study, discovery, connection and engagement.

Visit the Beyond the Walls Exhibition

As part of the opening celebrations, everyone is welcome to visit and experience Grangegorman Histories: Beyond the Walls, an exhibition developed in collaboration with the Royal Irish Academy.

Opening to the public from 14 September, the exhibition explores the rich and complex history of the Grangegorman site and the communities connected to it, offering visitors a unique opportunity to discover the stories that have shaped this remarkable place.
