The Grangegorman Development Agency established a Consultative Group as required under section 22 of the Grangegorman Development Agency Act 2005. The Consultative Group is in place to maintain an adequate communications strategy concerning the development of the Grangegorman site. The stakeholders to be represented on the Group as set out in the Act are as follows;
- Residents representatives (elected through the neighbourhood election process)
- Public representatives of the area
- Dublin City Council (DCC)
- Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin, formerly DIT)
- TU Dublin Students
- TU Dublin Staff
- Health Service Executive (HSE)
- Phoenix Care Centre (formerly St. Brendan’s Hospital) staff & service users
- The Minister for Environment, Community & Local Government
- The Minister for Education & Skills
- The Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport
- Others which Ministers and the GDA may consider.
No more than 2 members from each of the stakeholder groups.
