West Quad
Overview
The West Quad is a major component of TU Dublin’s continued development at the Grangegorman campus, providing six floors of teaching and learning space, including a basement level.
Located west of the Academic Hub, it will feature a publicly accessible ground-floor route that connects the campus core to Prussia Street and Stoneybatter, promoting permeability and stronger community ties. Once complete, the West Quad will become the new home for TU Dublin’s Faculty of Business—relocating from Aungier Street—as well as parts of the School of Languages and the School of Law.
Designed to support growth and flexibility, it will include a variety of academic spaces, including a 900-seat exam and event hall. Accommodating over 4,000 students and 350 staff, the West Quad is envisioned as a dynamic civic and academic center that encourages collaboration, creativity, and interdisciplinary engagement.
