Site Infrastructure and Public Realm
Overview
The Site Infrastructure and Public Realm (SIPR) project is a foundational element of the Grangegorman site development. Phase One of the SIPR project was a critical milestone, enabling the arrival of the first 1,000 students to the campus in September 2014.
Spanning the entire 73 acre site, this major initiative involves the installation of all essential utilities, significant landscaping, and the creation of a high-quality public realm—including pathways, roads, green spaces, lighting, seating, and bicycle parking. The SIPR project lays the groundwork—both literally and figuratively—for a vibrant, accessible, and sustainable urban campus that continues to grow and evolve.
