Overview
Grangegorman Playground, located near the Fingal Place pedestrian entrance into the Grangegorman site, is a community space designed for play. It features a variety of modern play equipment set on soft, child-friendly surfaces and sits adjacent to extensive sporting facilities, including grass pitches, synthetic playing fields, and multi-purpose courts.
Current status
Currently open to the public, the playground has scheduled maintenance works (playground re-surfacing and mobility swing installation) that are now planned to commence in early 2026. We will publish more details of the expected timeline of works closer to the start date of this project commencing. To get more details on the proposed works please download this project factsheet.
