After several years of careful planning and intense design work we are delighted to lodge an application for Planning Permission which advances our plans to deliver housing at Grangegorman on behalf of the HSE.
Our HSE Residential Care Neighbourhood will sensitively place new homes for the elderly – and replacement homes for the current residents of St. Elizabeth Court – within the Grangegorman site and neighbourhood.
This low-rise housing scheme embraces the HSE’s ambitious ‘Teaghlach model’ to change cultures of care away from task-oriented medical approaches to ones supporting people to direct their own lives; in residential settings that are their homes.
The building will balance collective household living, courtyarded connections to nature and a new civic edge to the green-finger which liking the North Circular Road into the heart of the Grangegorman site.
This is our third development for the HSE and continues our collective commitments to deliver thoughtful design solutions and dignified access to healthcare which is integrated within the Grangegorman site and with our existing and emerging communities.
Míle Buíochas to our Design Team led by McCullough Mulvin and TODD Architects and to all of our HSE colleagues.
