Following our previous information session in January, GDA are happy to confirm that Phase 1 demolition works have gone well and on schedule.
With that, we are now looking ahead to the follow-on Phase 2 Archaeological Investigation Works commencing soon and to facilitate these works, the site boundary will need to extend temporarily into St Brendan’s Way for a short period, leading up to early summer.
A temporary fence has been erected this morning to allow construction of a timber hoarding which has been kept as close as possible to the original fence line to minimise any disruption to St Brendan’s Way while these important works proceed.
The path from Broadstone through St Brendan’s Way towards Grangegorman will remain fully accessible to the public throughout this process.
