Pathway 3: Cultural Mapping/Book
The ‘…the lives we live’ Grangegorman Public Art Book is a compilation of arts activity, collaboration, commissions and happenings that map the breadth and depth of engagement by artists working with communities and contexts within Grangegorman and beyond, from 2014 to 2020. The Public Art Working Group’s aim has always been to support ways for Grangegorman to be an integral part of Dublin’s city, and the Book notes how contemporary art practice explores and interrogates histories, evokes play, harnesses new technologies for senior citizens, builds creates collectives, hosts intercultural initiatives and opens access to the arts from a variety of perspectives.
