Vibrant Community Fund 2026 Details

The Vibrant Community Fund is an annual grant programme delivered by the Agency to support community-led projects and activities in the Grangegorman neighbourhood.

Established in 2014, the Fund is designed to help local groups bring people together, strengthen community connections, and create positive, inclusive experiences for those who live, work, study, and spend time in the area. At its heart, the Fund is about supporting ideas that add life, colour, and connection to the local community.

Each year, the Fund provides financial support for projects that are open, accessible, and free to the public. Supported initiatives often focus on areas such as community festivals and events, cultural diversity and heritage, learning and educational experiences, climate action, and the creative use of shared outdoor and public spaces.

What funding is available?

The Vibrant Community Fund has a total annual allocation of €10,000, awarded across two funding streams:

  • Stream 1: Two grants of €2,500 for larger-scale community festivals, events, or activities

  • Stream 2: Five grants of €1,000 for smaller-scale projects, initiatives, or events

All funded activities must take place within the calendar year and be free to participants.

Who can apply?

Community groups and organisations based in the Grangegorman neighbourhood are encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants are those working to support community development, promote inclusion and diversity, encourage participation, and enhance local quality of life.

The Fund supports projects that deliver clear community benefit and help build positive relationships at local level.
