The GDA will hold a information evening in relation to the planning applications for the Dublin 7 Educate Together School next Thursday 22nd March from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
The GDA intends to submit two planning applications to Dublin City Council following the information evening; one for the development of the school, and; one for necessary works to the junction of Rathdown Road and Grangegorman Upper.
The school development will consist of 24 classrooms, including ancillary spaces for special needs and will be located off Grangegorman Upper adjacent to the HSE Primary Care Centre. Further details and drawings will be available for viewing at the Information Evening.
We recently undertook consultations with residents on the proposal for altering the junction, the primary aim of which is to make it safer for a school to be located here. Dublin City Council has agreed that the Agency would progress this proposal by way of a planning application separate to the application we will submit for the proposed school. This will also be available at the Information Evening.
GDA staff and design consultants will be available in the GDA Offices in the Clock Tower building on Grangegorman Lower on Thursday 22nd March from 4:30pm – 7:30pm to discuss the plans for both the school and the junction, and answer any queries you may have.
If you require further information please phone 01 4024140 or email communications@ggda.ie. As with all planning applications, once the applications are submitted, all observations must be made directly to Dublin City Council Planning Department.
