The Agency was recently privileged to connect and learn from our OPW colleagues in the neighbouring Phoenix Park for a day of engaging presentations and discussions centered around sustainability, biodiversity and climate change.
Speakers such as Paul McDonnell, Park Superintendent at OPW; Margaret Gormley, Chief Park Superintendent at OPW; Leif Barry, Environmental Scientist and OPW biodiversity expert; Dr Nick Scroxton, Palaeoclimatologist, Assistant Professor of Climate Change at Maynooth University; and Sadhbh O’Neill, Senior Climate Advisor at Friends of the Earth Ireland and TU Dublin lecturer shared their knowledge and insights with the GDA team.
There were a lot of learnings from the day and the Agency welcomed the opportunity to engage with the OPW on our local biodiversity.
