Professor Brendan Kelly’s highly anticipated book “Asylum: Inside Grangegorman” launched on Monday 9th October, with the ceremony held in Grangegorman’s oldest building, The Lower House, now home to TU Dublin Students Union.
The president of the TU Dublin Student’s Union, Brian Jordan, welcomed the launch taking place in the Lower House. Stephanie O’Keefe from the HSE led with opening remarks, followed by Niall Breslin (Bressie), sharing their support for the book while also giving insight into mental health reform efforts in Ireland today.
Professor Kelly closed the event with words of thanks and wisdom to everyone who joined him in celebrating the launch of this timely book.
