What a difference 10 years can make!
Grangegorman has been undergoing a remarkable transformation since the development first broke ground. This week, 10 years ago, this image was taken showing the Site Infrastructure & Public Realm project in full swing. There have been many more changes since then as the GDA works towards our vision of a world-class, integrated, and inclusive education, health, and community campus.
Take a look at some of the amazing changes that have taken place over the past decade, as seen from the sky:
â—Ź Sports fields, play spaces, and public realms for sports and recreation
â—Ź Central and East Quads and Greenway Hub as new state-of-the-art facilities for TU Dublin
â—Ź Restoration of seven protected structures, including the oldest building on site, the TU Dublin Lower House, and the HSE Primary Care Centre, providing health and social care services
â—Ź D7 Educate Together National School, providing further high-quality primary education amenities for the area
â—Ź TU Dublin Academic Hub, currently under construction
â—Ź Connecting to Broadstone Plaza, a key pedestrian/cyclist access that links Grangegorman to the wider city
We are excited to see what the future holds for Grangegorman.
