GDA Planner Recognised for Her Work on the Project

Terry Prendergast

Senior planner with the GDA, Ms. Terry Prendergast, was presented with The Irish Planning Institutes (IPI) President’s Choice award at their recent awards ceremony in Dublin Castle.

The award is in recognition of the huge contribution of Ms. Prendergast to the Grangegorman project, and in particular to the development of the Grangegorman Planning Scheme. In its citation the IPI  stated that Ms. Prendergast played a non-traditional role of planner “who has been key to the development of a planning strategy for this SDZ, the delivery of the project to date and the safeguarding of the future success of the project”.

Ms. Prendergast, who is also a lecturer in DIT, has been working on the Grangegorman Project since it began and has been an invaluable source of information and advice to all involved in the project. Everyone at the GDA would like to extend their congratulations to her on this well-deserved accolade.
